Cocoa and Canvas: Paints a New Leaf

On the morning of December 4th, the New Leaf Program held their Cocoa and Canvas event. Participants in the program, had a morning of painting and comradery. This event was not only New Leaf administrators’ way of providing to their participants, but to contribute to the community. Members of the New Leaf program wrote holiday cards to members of Lake and Geauga County who will be spending the holiday within the confines of inpatient care. Members wrote inspiring messages to those who may need some of that extra encouragement.

The New Leaf Program in turn hopes to spread knowledge and awareness of the hardships that some individuals encounter during the holiday season. Plus, they encourage those who are going through such hardships to engage in community building or pro-social activities. The Geauga County Court of Common Pleas and the New Leaf Program would like to also extend a happy holiday season to all. As well we hope that you and your family remain safe during this cold weather season.
