Clerk of Courts

A proud resident of Hambden Township, Sheila was elected to office in 2020 as the Geauga County Common Pleas Clerk of Court. With over 20 years of legal experience, Sheila worked in the Legal division of the Clerk’s office for over six years prior to becoming Clerk. Sheila is a strong advocate for quality customer service and takes great joy in working in public service. Her goals are to reduce costs to the public, prioritize records retention, and continue to improve technology in the Clerk’s office.

Since taking office, Sheila has become an active member of the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association. She is a 2022 Leadership Geauga Graduate, Good Deeds Program Spokesperson, and longtime member of Mustard Seed Art Studio in Chesterland, Ohio. She is very proud to serve this great county as the Clerk of Courts.
